Drive times are approximate and depend on the bridge and US 83 traffic.
Roma’s historic plaza has street parking directly outside, and it is rarely a fight — this is a town of 11,500, not a city centre. The streets around the plaza are historic brick in places, so take them slowly.
The Roma Bluffs World Birding Center is thirty seconds from our door, and the National Historic Landmark District has 38 historic properties within a short walk. Most guests make an afternoon of it: birding centre, plaza walk, then the distillery. Here is the half-day itinerary.
No — we are closed Monday and Tuesday to the public, and hold those two days open for private events and buyouts. If you want the whole building to yourself, a Monday is the easiest date to get.
Yes — the international bridge is a block below the plaza, which makes this one of the few distilleries in Texas you can reach on foot from Mexico. Tours are given in Spanish, and cross-border guests are a normal part of a weekend here.
